This really is a fantastic result for RuckinRugby as this week we got the nod from the Arabian Gulf RFU. The AGRFU are looking for a cutting edge website which - from what we have seen to date - may well be the very best RFU website anywhere on the web. The AGRFU are hosting the Sevens World Cup in 2009, after which we hope to give the whole brand a new look and again - we aim to make this brand the most cutting edge and professional looking on the circuit. Watch this space to see how things progress and if you are reading this and in anyway tied to any regional or national RFU that you think could do with a shake up, - please drop us a line.

Great news today as we celebrated Cardiff University RFC going live with their new RuckinRugby website - and a fantastic looking site it is. Right on the back of their Varsity match victory against Swansea, Cardiff University have gone live and already added a wealth of information to their site.
More importantly, the Cardiff guys have been pushing their RuckinRugby site to see what it can do and providing crucial feedback to make sure that the system will only grow stronger and more versatile in the future.
We at RuckinRugby wish Cardiff University RFC all the best for a fantastic season and we also hope that this paves the way for more Welsh clubs to sign up and join in.

Rugby South West Magazine have announced the winner of our competition and it’s the Plymouth Barbarians. The Plymouth Barbarians already have a website but they want to move on and get a fully operational and easy to update RuckinRugby website. They are a new club, formed just a year ago but they have big plans and a vibrant core of players and support that are just the kind of people we like to deal with. - There will be a lot on here about these guys over the next year as they are planning a very important match in September - see their website for details.

well it has been buzzing here at RuckinRugby this month. We are very proud to welcome the Royal Signals who will be up and running very soon with a new site - right on the back of a very good run at the Cyprus 10s, losing narrowly in the final to the Marines. As an ex-signals player myself this is a great day for me and I look forward to working closely with the Royal Signals Rugby Club - including Union, League and Ladies teams - in the future. Have a look at their Facebook Group for more information and get involved.

Great news here at Ruckin’ Rugby as we have snagged Cardiff University in time for the Varsity match and the new season. Cardiff’s site will go live soon and is already looking good. it will have a couple of new features that we will be able to offer other future clubs and thanks to the very high quality photography made available, it promises to be an outstanding site both for Cardiff and for us - we look forward to going live soon.

Apologies for the delay but we have been in transit. Ruckin’ Rugby have officially arrived in the Middle East and set up home in Dubai, in the UAE. Dubai is at the centre of a real hot bed of rugby right now and we hope to get involved in any way that we can.
We are looking to produce a brand new website and brand for the Arabian Gulf RFU - start as you mean to go on eh - and we are also looking to attract the other clubs in Dubai to get their web presence updated. This is a very large region that need to do all they can to stay in touch and start communicating, to make sure these fixtures continue and take hold.
These are exciting times for sure - but we haven’t forgotten the UK and we still very much have a presence there with Luke White and I shall be returning periodically and staying in touch with our clubs. I may even entice a few of them over to the Dubai 7s??

All sites will be soon getting the ‘Links’ Feature from Ruckin Rugby. The links page gives you the facility to add links to sponsors, other clubs or anyone you want - via the CMS. Add a simple icon, web address, teaser and info and the CMS does the rest.

We have just finished testing the eagerly awaited news page feature. In the CMS you can add a news item headline, teaser and main story. These appear on the news page but can also appear as a feed in your sidebar - like an RSS Feed.We will be adding this feature to all sites over the coming week.

This week saw testing completed on the ‘league table’ feature. We have added this to our flagship site at Bideford RFC where Luke continues to hone his site layout. The league table is an essential addition to all teams and clubs that play their rugby outside of the top flight where it is so hard to get stats and facts about how your team are performing. You can have a league table for every one of your teams and the table is easily updated in the CMS. A nice feature is the fact that you can have a ‘feed’ from any league appear in your sidebar for quick reference.
