More about the Team at Ruckin' Rugby
Ruckin Rugby was a 'vision' of John 'Max' Maxwell, a freelance nomadic website designer trading as The Pig Farmer Designs. He designed a website for his home club in Devon England - Tiverton RFC - and was horrified to see how many clubs had either an awful website or no site at all. Put off at the idea of designing more sites from scratch he set about building a template that could be used to produce clean, slick and professional looking websites, specifically aimed at Sports clubs to include fixtures, results, selections, galleries, news and more. He did this with the help of his regular development partners - The Technology Angel - who have done a fantastic job and continue to do so with continual advancements and add-ons.
Max had two main criteria when creating the template, first the site needed to be clean, easy to navigate and fun to use. Second, the website needed to be extremely easy to update and administrate by ANY member of the club, be they PC literate or not! Both of these criteria have been met. The third 'nice to have' criteria was his desire to push for continual improvements. An agreement has been made with the development team to continually take feedback from all clubs concerned and work to improve the platform, this has been a rewarding part of the process.
UK Sales Team

Whilst approaching Bideford RFC about a pro bono website to get the ball rolling, Max chanced upon Luke White - a dynamic and infectiously enthusiastic rugby lover who was very keen to get involved. Luke has been key in providing true feedback from a live site (and it's club members) and is now involved with rolling the platform out to more clubs in the Devon and Cornwall leagues.
Right now we do not know where Ruckin Rugby will lead or how widespread it will become but we certainly have 'grand plans' to provide great websites for as many clubs as we can, in as many countries as possible.
